Eric's second vintage from these rented St Joseph vineyards.

On the more restrained end of the St Joseph scale - waxy soft fruit with gentle wood notes. Seems well crafted rather then the raw power of some from this appellation , making this wine maybe a bit more appealing to a wider audience.

Very rare indeed to find a red Meursault.

Very young fruity nose. Fresh with some green streaks and a bit of tannin bite, but the fruity Pinot flavours sing out above it. This is a young wine but a real pleasure to drink in its current state.

It is very important to compare this wine to many pinot noirs from the neighbouring region of Burgundy. At this price point it is nearly impossible to find an equivilent wine with such class and depth of flavours. This vintage is just beginning to show some of those really interesting aged notes that makes Pinot so special - whilst the fruit remains pure and elegant.

It may say Vin de Pays on the label - but don't let that fool you.

This is pure, elegant Syrah at its very best. The number in the title relates to the degree of inclination of the slopes on which the vines grow. The wines are neither filtered nor fined.

A shiny, floral essence with hints of wicker basket on the nose. Light, quite elegant savoury herbal character.

More floral character on the palate, spicy pepperiness with dried herbs. A bit of grip, but it fits nicely.
