£7.35PLUME ROSE (2010) - COLPLPNV
Domaine la Colombette, Beziers
Variety; Grenache
9% ABV
A lovely ripe, juicy, soft rosé that is just too easy to drink. They only use 'free run' juice and the end result is delicious and bursting with Mediterranean sun.

£7.45LE TEMPS DES GITANS ROSE (2010) - JANROS10 Sold Out, Back Soon!
Mas de Janiny, Languedoc
Variety; Carignan
13.5% ABV
Vin de Pay d'Oc
5 years ago a friend of Juliens asked him to make a wine for a gypsy jazz festival in Paris and Cabu-a famous caricature was asked to design the labels. It was a great success and although the jazz fair was a one off the wine has continued. Les Temps de Gitans’ is ‘the time of the gypsies’ and the wine is a fun wine to be enjoyed with friends. It is organic, well made, has personality and a clarity of fruit not oftn found at this price point.
£8.70PETIT CLOSI (2010) - BOUPCR10
Domaine Boudau, Roussillon
Variety; Cinsault Syrah
12.5% ABV
Vin de Pays des Cotes Catalanes
Pretty fragrant dark red rose with more weight so good with food. It’s pretty warm in Rivesaltes and the spice in the Syrah comes out with the soft red fruits. Great with cold meats in the summer where a red would be too much.
£9.60CECI N'EST PAS UN ROSE (2010) - SABNPR10
Domaine des Sablonnettes, Rablay Sur Layon
Variety; Cabernet Franc Cabernet Sauvignon
11.5% ABV
Vin de France
This is almost like a fleurie, a light beujolais style red for the summer, it has lively pretty red fruits with an earthy minerality and balanced acidity. Biodynamic.
was £13.85 £12.69SANCERRE ROSE (2010) - SANROSE1
Domaine Crochet, Sancerre
Variety; Pinot Noir
13% ABV
Appellation Sancerre Controllee
The lightest, most delicate and beautiful rose on our list.
There is a merest suggestion of pink in this wine and likewise the flavours are all about delicacy and elegance. Definitely a rose for consumption with food - the acidity is as marked as in the whites. But what a wine to have with a delicate light Brill like fish or with this acidity maybe even some Sole.
